Have you ever wondered what your perfect week would look like if you could plan it all out? We’re not talking about a vacation or lounging by the pool at 8 AM, but a realistic perfect week. Imagine your ideal working hours, sleep schedule, picking up the kids from school, training, food prep, and all the other tasks you need to do.

If you could choose where and when to do all of this, what would your schedule look like?

Grab a piece of paper and spend a few minutes sketching it all out. How does it compare to your current schedule?

If they are similar, then:

  • a) Congrats! It looks like you have life well-organized.
  • b) Try again because you’ve just written your current schedule.

Now, compare this to your actual schedule.

If they are miles apart, it’s time to get to work. Identify where you can become more efficient, what isn’t working, and what tasks you value the least that can be moved or cut out of your week. Focus on prioritizing the things you value the most.

This simple exercise can help you free up time and focus on the most impactful and meaningful things in your life. If you feel like there are never enough hours in the day, but you’re spending 3 hours every evening watching Instagram reels, there might be some room to make changes.

While we are not aiming for perfection, because life happens and there will always be tasks we must do, the goal is to spend as much of your week as possible doing the things that give you the most value.
